I hope this was just a mistake on the part of the site owners/hosts.

I was very offended to see an advert box referring to "local slags" above one of the threads I was browsing just a few moments ago. I actually feel quite uncomfortable typing the word, but that's what was there.

Please tell me I didn't imagine this, and then tell me we won't see anything of this sort ever again.

Dont know if you imagined it as dont know where you saw it. However not a very good thing to be on the site.

You didn't imagine it, I saw the same link at the top of the page on a link not that long ago :eek:

I remember a while ago now seeing a quite aggressive looking barking dog come up on the ads on here :(

I remember asking and sadly there wasn't anything Pauline could do about it as Google decides the ads it displays...

I wonder if there is a way of complaining when ads are inappropriate??

Of course an advert of this nature is totally inappropriate.

We use Google for the ads just like Pauline did but we are able to ban particular advertisers.

If anyone sees an inappropriate ad then please do let me know the web address of the advertiser and we can add it to the list of banned advertisers.

Me too, few months ago i saw some rude ladies, only saw it once so didn't mention it.

We probably blocked it as soon as it showed. I've given Richard some info on how we used to block those types of ads.
