I don't know if it's just me but often when I am searching under the search button I am told to wait fifteen seconds as the forum does not accept searches under a certain time length (or something)
This has often baffled me and wasted time and I wondered if there was a good reason for it?
Cheers and apologies if I'm doing something wrong cx

It is just to ease the load on the server, imagine the possibility of thousands of members all searching at the same time, it might blow a fuse
I will flag this up for Richard as his IT experts will have better knowledge than me, I just set it with the vBulletin recommendation. :)

It never used to bother me when it was a 15 second wait, but i really noticed it when it went up to 30 seconds. That's a very long time when you're as impatient as I am :D

Thanks Pauline . What baffles me is it's often my first search and im told to wait 39 secs between searches. Yet this never happens flitting from one post to another ...
