Had phone call at 11.30 they coming out on Monday to do my first inspection:eek: Will only be my second day with baby I have so not got into any routines or anything yet. I'm also ment to be out all weekend guess i'm not now :(

I think you should say that only 2nd day with lo and I think they will think it unfair on the child to carry out an inspection while they are unsettled.....sorry to be negative......good luck if you go ahead, busy weekend for you then! :)

They know I told them cos didn't want it going against me luckily baby very good. They said my deadline for inspection is July 5th so needed doing this next week as when they phoned earlier in year I didn't have any in early years so postpone it. At least it will be they current EYFS.

No need to do anything special just relax and do as you normally would.
Make sure your paperwork is out where th inspector can look through it and just get on playing with baby.

That's true re: old EYFS. My inspector ploughed through all my risk assessments and they check the register so check everything is signed etc. Good luck x

Well she was lovely and I got satisfactory :) said I was doing all the right things and doing them well but because it was only the lo's second day I didn't have evidence of observations and next steps.
