Just wondered if Inland Rev ask to see your bank details at any time or is that completly private.

I have a feeling they do if you have a tax inspection but there's no point them looking at mine because I pay money into different accounts and sometimes don't pay it in at all, I just spend it!

Me too. Most of mine is cash and the rest in vouchers which pays the car :o

They can if they want ...

...and you have to provide your account details on your tax form in case of a refund :D

They can look at mine if they want and then maybe they will feel sorry for me !!!

They have the right to check your bank accounts if they suspect anything is wrong with your accounting
