Inspired by Sarahnev's multi-cultural calendar (if you don't have one, get one!).
Here's a link to origami paper boats. I've got a little fleet on the desk as I've been practicing for showing people how to do it at group tomorrow. Believe me, if I can do it, you can! Anyway, we're gonna race them in the water table, hehe. I think we'll allow the kids to do some drumming, too as that is how the boats are normally raced, to drum beats.

So was I but after messing about a bit and follwoing th diagram to a t, I finally got the hang of it and cou;dn;t stop! My husband was cracking up as I kept making boats while we were watching Springwatch. He called it my armada! It was just really fun and I was excited I could do it. I'll definitely post pics from group today.
