I was searching for Elizabeth Truss and came across this article from nursery world in April this year, about how the Dutch system failed. I thought I would post the link in case anybody wanted to understand how it worked and why it failed.

Interesting to read that when it was introduced the government paid 1/3, the parent paid 1/3 and the parents employer paid 1/3 of the childcare costs. If we are looking at the dutch model as something for our country I'm not too sure how Elizabeth Truss thinks that she can our parents employers to pay a third of childcare costs
