Hiya,
I use plastic as all my kids are still 3 and under, but I want to replace them all as have none that match!
Does anyone know where I can get some good ones?? I don't want any of the summer ones that are in the shops atm as they aren't microwavable.
Amazon ones are really expensive = £12 for 4!!!!!

I have used the Ikea ones for years - cheap, colourful, cheerful, microwaveable, dishwasher proof and easy to replace.
And 90p for six plates!!! They do matching cups, bowls and cutlery.

I've got Avent ones, they are microwaveable and can go in the dishwasher, mrs O liked them as they have pictures of fruit etc on them, they come in a set or on their own but they are expensive, I have 3 sets, min £10 each off eBay I found, can work out cheaper to buy individually just look around
There are 2 different size bowls and a plate that's devieded into sections
Hope this helps

I use the Ikea ones with the matching cups, cutlery and bowls. It's a good activity for the children to match up the colours so they get a 'complete set'!

Yep...Ikea!!
I have a couple of sets.
Each child had a colour so they all know their plates and cups etc.
Easy peasy...lemon squeezy:D

I got rid of most of our plastic stuff when I changed to providing hot lunches  we now have 10 white plates from Macro (£1 each) which are the thicker type with a slight lip so less likely to break and the lip helps the children to gain control of loading a fork or spoon! We also use metal spoons and forks (cake forks are perfect size for little people!). I kept the breakfast bowls as plastic due to tired people first thing and I also kept four plastic plates in case I get any under 18mths. We use the cool milk cups at meal times so they are also plastic, but without lids :) xx

I got my friend to get me the Ikea bits when she went but I don't like them. I find the plates small (might be as I have mainly older kids) and the knifes and forks chunky. I have a mix of bits but recently brought plates and cups for Tescos. I must of paid about £1.- 1.50 for 4 of each. They didn't have bowls so i ended up getting some flower picnic ones from the pound shop and the boys fighted over who would have one so I got more. The Tesco ones are different colours so I know whos is whos but also they are a better size and I prefer the edge so the peas escape less!

I have the tesco ones now too -bowls, plates and cups, they are microwaveable and dishwasher safe -I find them a better size than the Ikea ones.

I have some Ikea ones, but I dont like the fact they have bits underneath so they dont stack well, I only have a small cupboard for storing them.
Will have a good look this weekend, thanks for all your suggestions!!!!
