I had my first Ofsted inspection today and I was SO nervous. But she was lovely and put me at ease.
I just played with the children (20months, 17months, 4months). I talked to them the whole time we were playing. I had all my paperwork laid out on the table for her, which she said was excellent, so she only asked me a couple of questions.
I didnt pre-organise any activities, just let them do what they wanted to do.
I did prepare the childrens snack and lunch before she came, so I didnt have to leave them in the other room and luckily they were all very well behaved today - the eldest gave Mrs O a great big hug when she walked in and then proceeded to climb on her lap! :D
