Planning ideas for 1 year olds

Hi all

Does any one have any activitiy ideas for a one year old... i have two starting in a few weeks and want to make sure i have really well planned activites .....

You really need to be observing and then following their interests and needs at this age so to start with I would put out age-appropriate toys and resources and go from there - you can do some sensory play (well-supervised in case of eating the materials), treasure baskets, blocks, simple dolls and blankets, walk-along toys, mirrors, cloths to play peek a boo, board books, song CD's and props, er too late to think of more! Then see what they play with and go from there! Jen x

You can't really plan activities for a 1 year old.

You can plan experiences and resources but the activities will come as a result of the little one's explorations and responses :D
