I've also done it using tissue paper. Not as see through but still effective.
I use the idea throughout the year, just changing the shape...hearts for valentines and mother's day, tie for father's day, leaf for autumn, candle for diwali and christmas...you get the idea!:D

The children have just finished their cards and are so pleased with the effect, I'll have to remember to do this on other occasions like you said debbie :thumbsup:

I wondered why I'd saved all the wrappers from the quality streets, knew I'd need them for something, despite OH telling me I was just hording rubbish that would never be used!!!:laughing:
I had 6 mindees making these today so now I need to eat more chocolate to replace the wrappers that have been used!!!:clapping::clapping:
