My Birthday

It is my Birthday today. I was spoiled by dh, dd and ds this morning and had quite a few cards in the post which was lovely.

I was surprised though when 20mth old mindee arrives this morning clutching a card and saying 'Happy Birthday' with mum holding a huge rhododendron plant. So lovely and I have no idea how they knew it was my birthday because I didn't tell them. He kept saying Happy birthday all day :blush:

I hate keeping mine quiet...I get them to sing happy birthday to me at the toddler group!! LOL!
It's nice to know that sometimes the mindees do listen and take note and bring a treat!:D

I had a party for a mindee who is leaving today and we had a big chocolate cake that was a combined leaving/birthday cake! It was lovely because all the parents came and a mindee who doesn't come on a Thursday and both his parents. Why do the good ones have to go????

Thank Angel I wouldn't have done one but for the sweet mindee :blush:

It made a great Observation because when I picked up my son from school we popped into the village to pick up some bits for tea. There was a rack of plants outside the shop and little mindee points like mad and goes 'Brita's plant' :laughing::laughing: sooo sweet and he is only 20mths
