If the learning journey belongs to the child and that goes when they move on what evidence are you left with to show evidence?

Do you keep two lots - one to go with child and one for your own records??

My mindees have given notice as I'm taking maternity but when I come back I won't be coming back to any mindees so will have to start again.

My inspection is due when I return but if I give my lj's to the one's that are leaving now I may not have any new ones or have very little obs on new ones to show as evidence.

Would they want me to get the lj's back from parents purposely for the inspection visit or would I risk being marked down for not having enough evidence??

Ofsted are really only interested in the children currently in your care, so id they know your situation they should allow for this. I always compile a CD of photos for each year, mainly group ones to demonstrate to potential parents the sort of activities we offer, maybe you could do something like this?
