how soon after registration?

Hi.

I just wondered how soon after getting registered did you guys get inspected? What was the process? Did they call and give warning? Surely they do as you may not be in? Please let me know as I am due one soon as registered since jan.

Morning, I was registered in march and mrs o said first graded inspection would be in 5 to 7 months time. hth x

I was registered beginning of August, starting working at end of August and inspected in the following march. I think they are normally about 6 months after reg so you'd probably be looking at June, but with the new EYFS coming it could be different.

It will normally be within 6 months of registration ... they must allow you 6 months to complete your introduction to childminding course.

If you are not working you can delay the inspection - just let your inspector know when they ring.

I was registered in June, inspected in December. I was actually called and give the day and time they were coming. My friend however was given two days and two times and was told she may come on either day!
