hi im new

hi ladies im new to this site today. im currently in process of becoming a cm, and Ofsted have rang me today and are coming monday for my reg visit. im so nervous, only got a fraction of my policies written out, in the middle of building work being carried out (not that this put her off). i would be grateful of any advice or tips you could me please? do i have to have all my policies ready for the visit ready to show them?

Sorry i forgot to put - No, don't worry about having all your policies ready for your pre-reg inspection. I had all mine, just incase but my inspector wasn't interested and she even told me so, i remember her saying "they will be important on your first inspection but I don't need to see them today"

Good luck with your pre reg

Dont worry about not having all your policies ready - they wont expect that
Just let them know you have an understanding of what is expected of you

Have a look around im sure you will find heaps of tips here

If you have a good look round you will find so many tips & great bits of info that will help you along your way. I know there have been a few thread recently about 1st inspections & pre registration visits, maybe you could use the search facility & then you'll be here for hours reading :laughing:
