Do any of your children hate Numberjacks?

Two of my children absolutely hate it - I mind them seperately. Just wondered whether any of your mindees reacted the same way - they get so scared!

My daughter used to hate this too! plus she was terrified of the hairy spider hand puppet things on Doodle Do!

My 4 year old mindee hates it.

So much, that Mum has to tear Numberjacks pictures out of magazines she buys or he won't look at it at all!

Glad it's not just him.

Mine are ok with it but I've often thought it's a bit scary for children.

My children are older now & mindees don't really watch TV, so I'm not very up to date with the latest children's TV programmes. By the sounds of it I'm not missing much!

What is it that's scary about it?

The number taker is what they just can't look at - I can see there point too at that age!

My mindee used to scream the house down if that came on, he hated it.

None of my mindee's ever liked the Numberjacks either.

One of mine used to have nightmares about the number taker getting him. :(

We had a child this week who was very scared of it but when we offered to turn it off she said no she wanted to watch it.

Oh my word don't let them come to my house then - my ds and mindee love it to the point where I pretend to be the number taker :laughing::laughing:!!!

My DD hates it too! I think the number taker is pretty creepy.

(And I've come across one or two Spooky Spoon ladies in real life. :laughing:)
