erm.... tips, I read as many oustanding Ofsted reports that I could, made notes, and implemented these practices within my own.

Partnership with Parents was oustanding, and I dont do a daily diary!!!
everything big is duplicated on my website, and emailed with an reply notification on it, I also text the parents through the day and send a photo at least one a day so the can see what their offspring is up to.

she loved my RA's and my Lj's and planning.

I should have asked the parents to provide a baseline of where they think their child is on the EYFS, but from comming from a preschool where we observe for a min of 6 weeks I did not even think of it.

She asked me what I thought I was and my answer

" I am aiming for outstanding, so thats what I think I am, but will accept a good, but I am no way satisfactory" now that sounds big headed, but I always think aim for the top and never sell your self short, and Good luck x

That is amazing well done, have you any tips I am dreading my inspection x

and as for the wine, one of my mums gave me a bottle of congratulation, so now tucking into it x

I have just got outstanding in all areas but the inspector didnt ask to see any evidence that my parents had written a baseline of where their children were up to in the eyfs she was more than happy with what i had done which was an all about me form that parents fill in, my own starting points that i gather after a week or so of observing the child, i then plan from there....... yet another case of inspectors wanting different things :) oh and well done!!! :)
