Hi, I am a newly registerd childminder and very quiet at the minute but have a regular 9 year old after school and have some questions_
What will ofsted require to see in terms of paperwork for him?
Do I need to have an attendance register, stating the time he arrives here and then the time parent picks up?
Does anyone know if there are rules about children of this age playing in the garden if you are inside?(although obviously keeping aclose eye on )
Many Thanks

I have a 13 year old come to me (been coming since 2 yrs) Yes I would let you 9 year old in the garden with you inside. Usually documents record form, medication infact i have exactly the same forms for a older child as i do the younger ones. except a form saying will come on her own from the school (independent arrival).

Yes you should have an attendance register of arrival and departure times for each day.
