Hello,

I've had a lo with me for about 4-5 weeks now and in that time I've noticed her speech coming along a lot. I've been doing observations, jotting things down etc. but how do I go about putting this in her learning journal?

Also she has started doing the sounds of different animals a lot more recently and when I ask her what does a cow do she says moo and so on. How would I put this in to her learning journal?

I'd just put the date, the observation, how it links to the eyfs and then ideas for what to do next to support her.

It doesn't have to be anything complicated, just a record of what you've heard/seen her do.

Like Miffy says don't overcomplicate things!

You could take a photo of the child with a cow saying moo... and add that to her LJ :D
