Hello!

I am soon going to be taking on a new child who I will mind on an ad hoc basis. I currently have two regular mindees and for them I use a standard contract with set days. What kind of contract would you use for an occasional mindee? I did think about getting the NCMA short term contracts but am I right in thinking they are for contracts of less than 28 days such as emergency or temporary placements? What kind of contract do you use for ad hoc placements and what information do you amend, add or take out?
Many thanks in advance

Susie

Hi,

I was advised last week by NCMA to use the short term contracts for all ad hoc children.

If it is going to be long term ad hoc I would use the standard NCMA contract and have a booking form for the parent to use each time they book hours.

I do everything the same as I would for contracted hours.
