From one extreme to another!

Yesterday I was upset that I didn't have any clients at the moment even though I've been registered since Feb. I've done a couple of temp contracts and have a part time perm starting in Sept but I just wanted my business to take off and do what I so long to be doing. Then, I got an enquiry and then one of my friends made the decision to take her son out of nursery and put him with me! The lady who enquired yesterday came round this morning and loved my home etc and I start looking after her son next week on temporary contracts as she only knows which days she wants me to have on a monthly basis so we're doing 28 day contracts. My friend's son will be coming with me four days per week. I'm now almost full - well as full as I want to be anyway and I'm over the moon!:clapping:

That's very good for you, since I applied to be a childminder I was worried about getting mindees, then a local nursery closed down (literally overnight) and the phone never stopped ringing! Hope it all goes well for you,

That is great news. For me it's the main downside of the job not knowing when/if you are going to be full or have enough work to keep you going.
