Memory stick

Hello,

I've been a bit stupid and saved all my documents on to a memory stick and no where else. Just my luck the memory stick has decided to break! Does anyone know if there is a way of retrieiving the documents?

It might be worth taking it to PC World or a local computer shop and asking if they can help.

Next time upload copies of everything to skydrive or dropbox.

We use an external hard drive which is a bit bigger and more difficult to break or loose. In fact we have two and back everything from all the laptops on both of them regularly.
