Writing a Contract

Hiya,

I am going to go with MM for my public liability insurance, and as I am aware, I am able to write my own contracts, as long as everything that's needed, is included.

So, what exactly needs to be included in a contract?

I always recommend new childminders insuring with MM buy their first set of contracts from their insurance company so they can see exactly what needs to be included.

You can then use them as templates (not copying directly from them as they are copyrighted) when you are writing your own.

However make sure you have a separate 'permission to request emergency medical advice or treatment' form as required by the Eyfs because this section is not worded well on the MM policy and you must have it in place to be working legally.
