Hi Im a newly registered childminder and have had my first parent interest, I am going to call parents this evening to arrange a visit so could someone please advise me on What i need to have ready in regards to paperwork etc, and anything else i need to know as i am in complete panick.

Hi i worked in a nursery and i am now in the final stage of registering as a child minder,:) i thought i would give parents a welcome pack such as my details,my setting, menu planner a child record form, any activities that you offer copies of policies and procedures, fees and opening times, not sure if you would give contracts out at the first meeting as it would have your registration details and i have heard some parents may use these to claim money even if child is not with you:eek:i hope this helps there may be other things such as copies of certificates etc Debbie:)
