Do I need to do my tax this year?

I registered in November but as yet I still have no mindees.
I have spent a small fortune so far on courses, memberships, toys etc...

Do I need to put this through before April or wait until the next tax year?

Also, i have not registered as SE with HMRC yet. Do I do this when I have mindees?

You register as self employed when you start working and earning money. Keep all receipts of things you have brought to be put onto next years accounts x

I am exactly the same boat! Registered in Nov 2011 and still waiting for mindees, I didn't think it would be this hard to find my first mindee!
