I know I read on here about a site you can buy baby record books from. I've tried finding it, but I'm having a think moment and can't...

Can anyone advise a good site for the baby record books?

Thanks

http://www.bromleycma.org.uk/payments/

It's the childminder/parent contact book. Just wondered how is was laid out, as you can't look.

I use a notebook for older ones, haven't minded any babies yet, but wanted something a bit more structured for them.

Like: Food....
Sleep
Nappies
etc
so I can just write, 11-1pm say next to sleep. Not 'x fell asleep from 11-1'. I know that probably sounds really lazy saving a few words...

I only have 1 mindee that I write a diary for. I use the ones off this site

http://www.childcareland.com/free.html

Scroll right down to the bottom to May items. The only thing that is missing is nappies which I write in one of the spaces. I then stick it in an exercise book each day.

I have made my own on the computer and just print them out into a hand made book, I give sleep times, bottles, food. what we have done today and how was the child. I add photos and massages as well

neither amanda it is simply a diary
headings are
date
food
sleep
activities
nappies
today i have been
milestones reached today
new words used today
additional comments
parent/carer comments

i suppose in additional comments you could use that bit to link to eyfs

but there is no reference made to eyfs or ofsted in any of the book.

which is why i like it :)

Thanks for that. Looks like it has a bit more info than the one I use. Obviously don't want any ref to OFSTED oy EYFS as they don't apply to me

You could design your own sheet and keep them in the child's folder.

That way you put on all the info you think is needed

Cheaper too if you've a few children
