Diamond Jubilee Celebrations

I have been invited by my local parish council to represent our mother/toddler group in the Diamond Jubilee celebrations. We have a meeting next week to discuss ideas on how to celebrate it. Does anyone have some good ideas, obviously a village party but what else??
