Bit of a silly. nosey thread...

...What kind of underwear do you wear? About 10 years ago I used to rock the really pretty Gossard Diamonte thongs, now if I am going out somewhere I sport the huge hold you in pants... oh so sexy! lol but generally now just wear shorts.

My mum who is in her 60's actually has some gorgeous sets and will only wear them as a set so she is matching. I just have basic black, white, nude and the odd pretty bra and THAT is it lol

Also we (dh and I) were in town and bumped in to MIL and DH's Nan, I said I was looking for a nice strapless bra and his Nan said "Go in to Ann Summers, I get all my underwear from there, it is so gorgeous" DH went bright red and walked off lol :clapping::laughing:

At the age of 44 and after having 4 children, I'm afraid the days of sexy underwear are long gone!!!

I now wear Sloggi knickers and I have just invested in a Genie Bra.

I go for comfort now :D

I have to admit I have one or two sexy bras which I love. In April 2009 I was 30H / 32GG, in May 2009 I was 32D... :D I went to slimming world the week before and 2 weeks after my op and I lost 10lb's

Now I just need a tummy tuck and bum lift lol

I got my reduction on the NHS, my mum had a breast reduction when she was in her 40's everything was great at this point my dad was in the army based in London but we had a home up north, my mum was up north and went back to London for her 3 week follow up appointment and the doctor asked where she was and he had been trying to get hold of her. During the op he sliced through a mass and then removed it and sent it for testing, his words were "I dont know how to say it, so I will just come out with it... You have breast cancer!" He took the liberty of booking my mum in that day for loads of tests and scans.

He said the mass was so deep in the breast tissue, she would have never felt it until it was too late. This used to scare me so much then when I had kids the thought drove me crazy to the point I would check myself ALL the time and freak out it made me physically sick, plus my two aunties and great auntie had breast cancer and two died.

I saw my GP who referred me to some specialist I had scans and blood tests and they agreed to do the reduction, not because of the risk of getting cancer but more because what it was doing to me "up there"

My mum is fine now, she had her breast removed, but has had so many ops since she is very badly scarred, My Mum and Dad split up about 12 years ago. My Mum is convinced it is because he couldn't bare to look at her anymore :(

My Mum has never met anyone and is still single but actually happier than she has been in years, she retires on Friday 10th and can't wait. She is very strong and I am so proud of her (omg I am filling up lol)

I would love to get Gok Wan to work his magic on her!! But would not know where to begin

I've got loads of very pretty (wouldn't really call them 'sexy' as such) matching sets. My hubby is really good at buying lovely underwear for me and I feel alot better if I'm matching. However, I do have off days when I just grab the biggest, most comfy undies I can find (usually at that time of the month when I can't be bothered! Sorry, too much information

All my bras are from Asda, have a couple of pretty ones, the rest are just plain every day ones. I buy my knickers from BHS, and yep I wear granny pants. I obviously have the odd sexy pair, but most of the ones I own are from my pre pregnancy days and about 4 sizes too small! I get into trouble cos my bra and knickers never match!!! My nan says a lady should always match!

Comfort is top of my requirements.
I like Tesco / M&S stretchy silky high legs.
Tesco bras for the fuller figure seem to fit well, I'm 38E !!
I have also just bought the Genie bras but find they give no support to my bangers so use them as sleeping in bras.
Long gone are the days of shopping at Anne Summers for undies

I'm a 38JJ so not a lot of choice so all my bras are same style just different colours.

Knicks are primark seem free stretchy things, not very attractive but very comfy:blush:

just had to come back to this thread after my off the cuff comment the other week....."Oh to be a 32D....I can but dream...I am a 30H/32 GG and would love a boob job...unless I win the lottery its out of the question "

I was diagnosed with breast cancer today :( the option my surgeon has given me is a bilateral theraputic mammoplasty...basically a boob job. he will remove the cancerous growth and the surrounding tissue and reconstruct a new boob with what I have left..then while under the anesthetic he will make the other side the same. Its taught me to be careful what you wish for :o

:( OMG I am so so sorry. PM me when ever you want to if you need to talk xxx.

My Mum had a mastectomy on the affected side. She then went back for reconstruction, and they adjusted them so they were equal. However almost 20 years on one of her breasts has naturally gone where gravity has taken it leaving them looking lop sided. She said that she wished she had a double mastectomy, because of the now lop sidedness, but also because of the fear of it coming back.

If you want to talk to my Mum PM me and you can add me on FB. I am sure my Mum will be more than happy to talk to you. x

Sending lots of love to you and your family xxx
