CRB update

Hi there peeps

I am waiting for my Pre registration meeting next month.

I want to take up childminding after having my second child and my wages won't be abe to cover the childcare fees.

My current job requires me to have a CRB, I have recently got married and my paperwork states my maiden name.

Do I need a new one or can I just have it updated?

You will almost certainly have to have it re-done as part of the registration process. I had a current CRB and another in progress and still had to be CRB'd!

I could be wrong but I think you need a crb for each new role you take on. I worked in a school before minding & still had to have another crb done when I became a childminder.

My poor husband has 3 - one for school governor, one for junior rowing coach & one for my childminding business! :laughing:

sadly you need a new one, I have stacks of CRB's now.
