living with mr diy and becoming a childminder is not easy im registererd but stuff needed doing in sort of ready but now rusty i gather daily diary is self explanitory but learing journal is that where you put obs any advice or help about either and how u set yours out greatly appreciated xx

Daily diary is a brief resume of the day - what they've eaten, slept, what we've done/where we've been etc
Learning journal is a record of the child's learning and development from when they started with you until they leave. It can include your observations (and parents) of the child, photographs of activities, artwork all linked to the eyfs. I do mine in date order but there's no set way to set it out.
