Am hoping someone can give me some ideas for a nice weekend away with OH, any ideas of places to stay and any good hotels you have experience of???

My hubby and i usually stay with the Devere chain of hotels they have always been good value for money and they have got loads all over the country.

register with Groupon and KGB they have great deals but be careful with teh smallprint on booking dates.

last year we had a £500 2 nigth stay for £150. it was 2 nights, b&b, dinner on first night, bottle of wine in room and unlimied access to the spa :)

also look at offpeakluxury.com - that has good deals too :)

Depends where you are thinking of going but Formby Hall Golf Club have some fantastic spa deals...just sign up with them and you will receive the deals via email. Formby is close to Southport and is nice to visit.

We have also stayed at some of the De Vere hotels and they are fantastic, Leeds and Cheshire are our faves :)
