All I'm all confused.

I charge £3.50 per hour, £3.25 per sibling.

This lady is coming around who wants full time, monday to friday, for an 8 month old and 2.5 year old who isn't in preschool and she has epilepsy.

The hours are 8 - 6 monday to friday

How much would it be in total for the month then?

I got £1461 but that doesn't seem right.. It seems... Rather high?

For both children, I get:

£6.75 per hour
£67.50 per 10h day
£337.50 per week
£1350.00 per 4 weeks.

I don't tend to do months, because they differ in the number of actual working days, but if you were to multiply the weekly figure by 48 (I take 4 weeks holiday a year and don't charge), the yearly figure would be £16200 ) so divide by 12 for a monthly figure you would get £1350 again.

I get this figure if I charge for 52 weeks of the year (no unpaid holiday for you). don't know what your usual terms are.

Oh I don't know.

I don't take any holidays at the moment because the mindees I have are term time only. I only take Christmas holidays when the parents take their holidays.

Would it be best to charge them weekly then do you think?

I do monthly but it varies depending on days so I take a deposit for 4 weeks which is used against my notice fees then charge in arrears. This month parents are invoiced for 5 weeks then next month it's for 4 weeks. Parents are fine with this. Btw my hourly rate is £4.50 and I don't do sibling discounts. X

Only reason why I am doing sibling discounts at the moment is to bring parents in. I've only had one mindee for two days a week for about 3 months and it's killing me :(

Hi, for feb I came to £1417, £6.75x10hrs a day x 21 working days in feb.
I know it sounds alot and it is alot but your going to be working 50hrs a week with both of them, don't going giving to big a discount as mum may be jumping up and down but you'll end up regretting it when your tired and your being payed so little. X
