Jigsaws - where to link

I have spent 1/2 hour looking through all the Development Matters and for the life of me I can't find anything about completing jigsaws!
My observation is a 3 1/2 year old independantly completing 4, 24 piece puzzles with no help and doing them quicker than I could! But just have no idea where this links.
Any ideas?

PSRN under shape space and measure 30 - 50 months
'show an interest in shape and space by playing with shapes or making arrangements with objects' if you look under the corresponding column Look. listen and note it quotes ' Children's skills in matching shapes and in completing puzzles'

Personally I would put that under problem solving and numeracy for the six key areas if that helps.:)
