My Buildings/Contents Home Insurance is due for renewal but I'm not sure where to go to, I have just input all my details on moneysupermarket.com, and was given alot cheaper quote than my current insurer is quoting but when I rang them to double check all the details was told I needed business insurance as I'm a childminder? The girl is to ring round and get me some quotes.

I know from looking at car insurance last year that 'Blue Fin' via NCMA are very expensive.

Any ideas folks? I'm not earning a fortune as I've not been minding long and only have a couple of kids on my books.

I have had car and home insurance from Churchill for years. The put the car insurance up last year and I am with Morton Michel who did a very good price.

I wouldn't touch Blu Fin but I had a bad experience with them and on the whole they are not that cheap for me.

Other companies like Direct line offer cms insurance. You don't need business insurance for Domestic Contents cover.
