Help with expenses

Hi all,

Is it correct that I can claim 10% of my contents insurance? And is this monthly? Or weekly?

Also can I claim back what I pay for the children's package of my sky as I don't have children of my own so I wouldn't need it otherwise?

Yes I calim it monthly and yes you can claim some of sky x

Actually the 10% concession only applies to water rates, council tax and rent but if you use part of your home exclusively for childminding part of the time you can claim a fair proportion of your insurance cost. It's not likely that anyone would argue with 10% for a FT childminder :)

Sky children's package definately in your case!
