We lived at our old house for 30 years, it was a nightmare crossing the road to one school. Over the years there were campaigns, protests and signature gathering to get a crossing, all to no avail.

We moved away in June .......... last week they built a zebra crossing :rolleyes:

They keep trying to do something about our local road but it's a fire engine route so they keep putting it off.

I hope it doesn't take 30 years though! :laughing:

I waited for an Asda to open nearby for 20 years - we lived in an area that had a high Tesco's presence
18 months later.... The BIGGEST Asda I've ever seen opened, only i'm now 160+ miles away
