View Full Version : Finally - Dominic gets to see Scarlett

Dominic got a call from Mummy at abbout 5pm to say he could visit her in hospital and meet his little sister :D

So off we went - Dominic clutching his present for Scarlett and his tatty but much loved comfort object - a toy dog called Hemski.

Slight hitch when we get there as the staff said dominic could not visit :eek:

His face fell, he went very pale and was getting distressed. However we got it sorted before he 'flipped' and in we went to meet Scralett - the visit was for Dominic's benefit - but of course I got to see but not touch Scarlett myself.

Dominic was very good and we managed to stay for 30 mins before he started to get a bit unsettled and over zealous in his patting of her head.

He named the doll he brought for his sister 'Charlotte'

On they way back he said he was very happy to seen his sister and she was beautiful.

Back at mine we looked at the photos on the computer and he said 'Granny you had better make one of those name cards for Scarlett for when she comes here. She will be coming with me lots of times' (just what Granny fears - a second child who has to haveown bed and everything here as like a second home.

oh hon, so glad you could go. are they ok. has the rare infection been managed with medication??

I must have missed this Penny but whatever happened, I'm so glad Dominic got to see his baby sister and the photos are lovely.
