new glasses frames?

On behalf of a friend - could she claim anything for her glasses frames?

She had new lens' no problem there except the price! Could have been put into old frames but they have been bent by children grabbing them. So question is could she claim a %?

I thought probably not, but said I would ask on forum :)

Hmmm I think it's probably part of the wear and tear.

However I suggest she rings HMRC and checks :D

If I had a broken lamp or broken pen I would claim a replacements in theory I would say yes BUT to cover the grey area (pardon the pun!)
