My friend had her inspection today and got Good overall expect for one thing.

She doesn't do a Nursery, Preschool run so the inspector said that as she couldn't show how she communicates with other settings she had to mark her as satisfactory

Surely as this is not relevant to this childminder she shouldn't have this brought up.

I don't do preschool or nursery's either, is there a policy or procedure I should have to cover myself?

It seems to be coming up a lot your friend isn't the only one to fall foul of it.

If the childminder does not work with other settings then the inspector cannot judge that area... as it's an area that has to be judged and graded something the inspector has to give satisfactory...
