Policies cover letter?

I have all my P&P's written down in my file which is accessible for parents at all times. I need to write a letter for parents to sign to say they have read and understood these. I was trying to do it last night but just couldnt think of how to word it, can anyone help?

I normally email all my policies etc to my parents and ask them to email back to say they have received a copy and read them.( then I print this out for my records - this is a good way expecially when you update or review a policy)

Alternatively just head up a piece of paper then :

I have read a copy of all ( your name) policies and proceedures

then underneath signed and dated by parents

I give all parents a form with all my policies listed on one sheet of paper. Then underneath it says: "I have read and understand the Policies and Procedures listed above, and I agree to abide by them." Then I sign and date, and parents sign and date as well.
