Hi everyone,

I am currently on Section 4 of the CYPOP5 and I am struggling with this topic, in particular, 'Explain how routines are based on meeting a child's needs, agreements with parents, participation of children.

My main problem is, I don't really understand how they want me to format the answer. Do they want me to give examples of varying daily routines (but differing from their examples) with the answers for each within (like in the example). Or do they literally want an explanation?

I am doing the MNT course, I don't know if it differs from the NCMA one but I noticed that someone else said Section 4 was marketing, so it sounds like they are in a different order.

I hope what I've written makes sense and that somebody can point me in the right direction.

Many thanks,
Kate

I would split it into 3...

Routines and children's needs - meal and snack times, regular outings etc

Routines and parents wishes - keeping to home routines

Routines and children's participation -talk about your flexibility and how children are not forced to do things... also maybe chat about how you involve children in deciding what they will do during the day.

Hth :D
