Sending off application

It's been mentioned by the Early Years team that I need to consider whether to submit my application for registration before August (in which case I need to be aware of both the national standards and EYFS) or wait until September and just work within the EYFS.

I'm not a huge hurry to start but neither do I want to sit around not doing much before I apply for registration.

How much extra work is involved in registering before September?

Tbh it takes so long to register what with long delays on CRB checks at the moment from what people are saying, you might as well get your application off now.

By the time you're ready to go, Ofsted will have been trained on the EYFS anyway :D
