Hi everyone, just wanted to say hello! After lots of thinking and discussions i have finally decided that i would like to become a Childminder. I have spent the past 11 years working in nurseries, having my 2 beautiful girls (aged 5 and 3) and working as a qualified Hospital Play Specialist. After all of that i wish to be my own boss have more time with my children and look after other children in the comfort of my own home. I have my pre reg in January then undertake the 6 week course the following November. I have a while to wait until i become registered but im making sure that i am taking full advantage of the time that i have to gather as much information possible about childminding and everything involved. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
