After more than a month my inspector came out at 10am and left at 1pm. 3 hours. Luckily it was not that bad discussing the Standards. Subject to checks and refs I can look after 4 kids including my own 6 month old.

She was however not too happy about my garden because it has a well. And on top of it because its a End Terraced house none of the houses are completely private gardens and we have 7 sheds on our side that used to be old toilets as these houses were built in the 1900's. Each one of the houses has a shed assigned to them and therefore it is accessible to public she said. She will talk to her manager and call me back and advice about Garden if it can be used as its a big long garden and it would be a pity not to use it.

So now the long waiting for checks and ICP Exam tonight and then 3 week holiday in South Africa. Cant wait!!:clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

blimey that's a bit out of order:eek: Is there no way that you could partition the garden off a bit so there is a fence in front of the well and sheds if it is a long garden, or are they not in thte right place to do that?

Hope you can sort something out, what a pain not being able to use your garden:panic:

Well done with your inspection! Surely she could have given you ideas as to how to make your garden safer, surely something can be done? I hope so...

she did first suggest fencing the garden off as she wasnt really worried about well as it is covered but only when she saw the sheds. She said that at first she wanted to make sure that kids didnt wonder off on their own to neighbouring gardens and if I could show that it would be ok but because sheds are next to my house as its end terraced neighbours pass through.

Oh Well

Forget it for now - enjoy your holiday and then see if there is anything you can do to make the garden safer so that you will be able to use it when you get back

What do they talk about for three hours?!
Did you have to show them your policies and equipment?
Also what age can the four children be? Do you have a large house to allow this as I understood you can generally have 3 under 3 only.
