Does this sound right?

In my accounts each month i have £14.85 for my heating and lighting costs and £93.10 for rent/council tax and water rates

Does this sound about right because it seems a lot to me, I do work full time and use those percentages

I don't know about rent but I have £60+ for heat and light.

Your gas and elec are very similar to mine as my monthly bill last month was £59 and since i can claim 33% of this it worked out to be for my expences £19.47 for the month that i could claim.

In terms of council tax and water rates I paid for the month £151 pounds, so i was able to claim 10% of this which was £15 for the month. However as i do not rent i am unable to claim rent like yourself so i cant comment on your rent without knowing how much you pay a month.
