i had my first mindie confirmed today and she will be starting with me in two weeks. I have most of the paper work ready but I was wondering how you organise your paper work.

I was thinking that I would include observations and individual planning in the learning journal and group planning in another is this correct?

So folders wise I would have:

eyfs information,
policies and procedures
group planning
learning journals
daily paper work
risk assessments

any thing else you can think of? oh and are journeys and journals different?

I would really appreciate your help

Adele. xx

Learning journeys and journals are the same thing.

Yes you put all the individual info for the child in their learning journey and you put group stuff in a separate folder.

You'll be fine once you get going with it all! Come back and ask if you are not sure about anything :D

Thank you Angel.

As I have looked around today I was starting to think learning journeys are the sheets which you use to monitor where they are. Sort of highlighting and dating the development matters and then journals were were you had parental questionaires.

Very confused :0/

Sarah I have your planning sheets so I will be popping by your site I think to get the one for this too if you have it.
