Hello All!

In the MM accounts paperwork the sheet for income offers the options of; total, childminding fees, recharged expenses and milk receipts.
What exactly qualifies as a recharged expense? If I allow 75p for breakfast, does this come off the fees here or do I add that as an expense?
Please help I am :panic:

I think it's 'extras' for which you charge for. For example if you charged £2 per day for a hot meal on top of your hourly CM fee, then this income would go in this column.

I'll wait to be corrected though!

I took it to mean things that you have purchased eg nappies or whatever it is, that is an expense to you, that you then charge back to the parent/carer or whoever, as per your contract/agreement.

If I am wrong I am sure somebody will say so

Thank you for your replies.

I don't actually recharge anything. Parents provide nappies etc and I cover all outings costs. I think I'll just leave it and list meals as expenses.
