I have a new one starting next week but as they are just starting back to work the jobcentre is going to pay me,
Does anyone have an experience of this? will it take ages to get paid?

Hi Yes finished in july with jobcentre payments placement
- to be honest yes i did have to wait for payments to come through,
had a few invoices that did not get paid and got lost in the system - had to make numerous phonecalls and wait for jobcentre to investigate where they went, as i type i am still owed £120.00 for the last week of term...
I dont mean to put you off and (apart from that last week) i have (eventually) recieved everything i was owed and was nice to have some lump sum payments, however was a bit of a nightmare going back over and through paperwork and i would have been in trouble had i been relying on a regular weekly/monthly income...
as i say i dont mean to put you off and it doesnt mean that you will have these problems just giving you the heads up on my experience :)
