internet on the DSi?

Just wondered if anyone can tell me what the browser is like on the DSi? I am thinking of getting George one for yule - as its going to be around the time the baby is due I want to get him a present that is a little more involved than just something small, although we don't tend to spend a lot on yule gifts.
Can he find the usual kids websites like cbeebies etc or is it just to download DS trial games etc?
