I'm currently going through the registration process (only CRB left and they are taking forever!! )

I have 2 parents already lined up for when I register (one has her mum looking after LO for now and the other works from home) so i've been really lucky. I know i am going to need a double buggy and a friend of a friend has offered me hers.

If I go buy it how do I expense it as I won't be able to get a receipt or anything? Sorry if this has been asked before  but would be a big help if anyone knows - thanks :)

If you buy it could you not get her to write out a note saying purchased from ..................... a double Buggy @ Cost of £...........................
and get her to sign it and put contact details on it?

i have written a reciept out for myself before; dated, item, price and signed. my tax inspector said that as long as you have a paper trail, that is fine. esp for things bought at a carboot sale, nearly new sale etc.
