Dear parents,
My name is Ursula .I’m 34 years old. I live in Strood, Medway,Kent and I am CRB checked an Ofsted registered childminder.
I have 5 years of childcare experience (2yrs Nursery Nurse,2yrs Room Leader,1yr Nursery Supervisor).
In March 2011 I achieved the Certificate in Early Years Practice a level 4 qualification and now I am working towards my level 5.
These are other qualifications and workshops that I have completed during the years I worked in childcare:
– Emergency Paediatric First Aid (12hr)
– Childminding Pre-Registration Course
– NVQ level 3 in Children's Learning and Development
– NVQ level 2 in Children's Learning and Development
– Safeguarding children
– Common Core Workshop: Safeguarding and Promoting the welfare of the child
– Level One Safeguarding Training
– Preparing for Ofsted
– Letter's and Sounds
– The Early Years Foundation Stage Course
My aim is to provide attentive, sensitive care to children, ensuring they are at all times safe, secure, happy, stimulated and comfortable in their surroundings .. I have a wide variety of toys and books. I will plan different fun activities including craft, cooking, singing, music sessions, story telling, messy hands sessions, outings etc.
I am able to do drop offs and pick ups if required.
My home is a smoke free environment. I have a secluded garden with a variety of toys.
